Description

I encountered the "second generation bug" for the second time where the time research resets and I loose the resources when I exit the game during the research. Therefore I used the "Lost progress?" option in my account tab. I did this at 0002125:0002019.12.03 18:54. I tried to roll back to 2019.12.03 17:52. I confirmed the ingame pop up window. It stated the the "Game loaded from cloud". My status was still SIGNED_IN, showing nickname (Jonaleth) and ID (U-GFV5-EMZF-GWD2GV). Clicked "Back". Had to choose language. Then on the main screen I had to realise that the whole game reseted to zero. I had no resources left (accelerator, ore, green paper, blueprints etc.), I have lost all story mode unlocked maps. I lost my "Double Gain" ingame purchase, statistics, everything. In the account tab Im still logged in. After restart Im still logged in, both ingame and Google Play. Whenever I try to roll back with "Lost Progress?" I loose everything again (I completed 0.1. map againg and lost progress and green papers again).

Same here. Signed in, nickname "n1cebear", Playerid "U-224E-WH4H-GYCHE8".

Started Second Generation Tower Research 0000030:0000018:00 (UTC +1), checked in again around 21:00 (UTC +1) and the research was not complete, not running, but the materials were gone. Went to my profile, clicked "lost progress?" and restored the savegame called "2019.12.03 17:49:30". After that, everything is wiped - I even had to select language again, like a complete new start. The only thing that's still there is my daily quest rank.

Do not use that feature on a regular basis, it is a last resort option for lost data. Cloud saves were made for saving games and restoring them. I will have to remove this feature because of misunderstandings, did not expect it to be used as cloud saves, instead of cloud saves.

Research timer will be fixed in upcoming update, will take up to 48 hours in an ideal conditions.

That was the first and only time I used it. I lost my very last blueprint due to the research bug and the last save was actually just minutes before I started the research - so I figured I could restore the previous save. I did not expect to lose all progress while doing so..

Lost progress button is not designed for regular usage, use cloud saves to save and restore your progress. Use "Lost progress" only in case you've lost all of your progress, it is too risky to use as a regular feature because you can see what could happen.
Please load your progress from cloud.

Hi..

this mistake happened to me. my transactions are as follows.

-I deleted the game data.
-I completely reset the game and opened it.
-I logged in to the account. -undo incoming cloud record? I rejected the warning.
-I got the last backup back as a manual.
-My problem has improved. (I did not use the lost backup setting)
-I strongly recommend manual backup.
-Do not rely too much on automatic backup.

The feces of the fast-running horse fall infrequently. ☺☺☺
