Please clarify the problem, it is not clear what needs to be fixed.
If you wanted an ability to roll back to previous version of the game and load a saved game from a newer one, I can say that it is not possible - new versions introduce new items that do not exist in previous ones and they will be lost if old version of the game is loaded.
