Summary0002687: New tower idea - Factory
Description

This is a new tower idea I've come up with.
This new tower will look like a bluish cube with one opening in one side which doesn't shoot but instead releases disoriented enemies (yeah the special enemies found in DQ boost) which helps you save the Base, called Drones. The default drone released is the distorted Fast with a default max drone capacity of 15 each Factory tower (current drone can be changed with an ability, but the default drone can be changed from research) which the tower quickly replenishes if it loses some.

Drones: These new types of disoriented enemies can fly anywhere in the map and roams over platforms and roads, the only thing they collide with is the enemies in each wave and upon death, releases a weak debuff AOE, and that's how particularly they fight for the Base. The actual health increments for all drones every wave, but not above wave enemies.

Additional Information

There are some types of drone the Factory can produce. The drones are:

  1. Fast: the default drone with it's health being always 82% compared to wave enemies
  2. Regular: nothing special, just 88% health compared to wave enemies
  3. Strong: same as Icy, just 92.5% health compared to wave enemies and upon death, releases Fire debuff AOE
  4. Fighter: has 95.5% health compared to wave enemies, this drone can split (like how it basically can) into 3 smaller copies, each having 58% health compared to wave enemies

Characteristics: I can't be accurate of how it should be but I have some decent balances of its characteristics.
Some of them are:-

  1. Range - high, like Missile but no min range
  2. Production speed - around 2 drone/sec
  3. Drone health - depends on drone but 50% incremental every wave + 500 HP bonus every Factory level
  4. Drone capacity - defaults to 15, can be incremented
  5. Rotation speed - sits around 100 deg/sec, can be incremented
  6. Crowd Control  - defaults to 12%, can be incremented
    The special characteristics definitions are:
  7. Production speed - replaces Attack speed
  8. Drone health - acts as health + damage for drones as drones attacks by colliding
  9. Drone capacity - determines how many drones a Factory can keep with it
  10. Crowd Control (CC) - this debuff determines how quickly drones will slowly make the wave enemies walk slower by applying this new debuff in a short AOE (range defaults to 0.985 tiles, CC defaults to 12%) once any drone dies by collision.
    This debuff can chain enemies.

Abilities: just some abilities that it can have with itself are (all of these can obviously be incremented from research)

Fast production: Production speed × 1.7, Range × 1.5, Drone Capacity × 1.75
Chained control: Crowd Control × 2, has 25% to apply Chain reaction debuff to spread CC among enemies, Drone health × 1.5
Drone switch: Allows to change the drone produced completely only once for every Factory with this ability (can be kept unchanged, not forced to apply changes immediately)

Firing mechanism: Places the barrel of the Basic at the top of the Factory with Attack speed × 0.75 (takes Production speed), Rotation speed × 0.9 (takes Rotation speed), Damage × 0.35 (takes Drone health, gets fixed) and Projectile speed of 3 tiles/sec

Ultimate: Has 50% chance to produce a secondary drone (can be set), Crowd Control gets doubled if more than 30 enemies are controlled
Powerful: PWR 1.1, Drone PWR 1.1

Drone damage to each enemy depends on what type it is, the first value is the damage effect and the second is the CC effect, almost all drones have a good CC rate to enemies it can attack. One thing to consider is that all drones have an exact 100% effect on damage and CC to bosses:

I have one correction to mention that the Strong drone isn't supposed to have the Fire debuff, but I forgot to remove it so please consider this, it was a mistake ¯⁠\⁠⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠⁠/⁠¯
