might be the same problem as issue 0002472
if it is, you should be able work around it by blindly typing your name/password/whatever, then typing something like a dot, then deleting the last character. or by temporarily disabling the autocorrection and suggestions of your keyboard.

seems like most people don't have this issue though so it might not get fixed
