Summary0002472: Keyboard not instantly writing letters during sign-in
Description

On the sign-in screen (in fresh install click "Guest" in top left corner), letters i type do not appear in the "Login" and "Password" fields. only after typing special characters (like underscore etc) or after closing the keyboard all letters and numbers will appear in the field.
So to fill in my login "ajsasflaym_beta", the login field will stay empty until i reach the underscore, and the "beta" part never show up unless i type another underscore behind which i have to delete again. Login will not work otherwise. If i switch to the "Password" field with the "beta"-letters still not drawn in the "login" field, they will get pasted to the "Password" field as well when i type a special character there.

I tried with two different keyboard apps, both show the same behaviour and i don't have any problems like this in other apps.

Do you use a build-in keyboard or a custom one from Google Play? How does it behave in other apps? Do you see a cursor blinking while you type or is it a completely static image? Which Android device do you use, can you share a screenshot of your keyboard? Did you try to use some other keyboard from Google Play? If not, please try to do so - "hackers keyboard" and a vanilla Android keyboard seem to work fine (if you manage to install it somehow).
Does it happen in every text field in the game?

I've been using HeliBoard, but also tried the default AOSP Keyboard my ROM came with. Never had any problems in other apps. I do see a cursor blinking. Device is an Asus Zenfone 8 with Android 14. Keyboard screenshot is attached, nothing special really. It does happen in every text field in the game.

So i tried the "hackers keyboard" and it works. Did some more testing and HeliBoard also works after i disabled auto-correction and word suggestions
