Description

All DQ maps have tower buff bonuses that are not "=" but "+".
"=110%" damage is actually 2.1x damage.
The same goes for version 1.8.
Or is that what it meant to be?

That's intended
Research tree does not affect DQs and all these values are equal to 0% basically (100% of the "global" tower damage + 0% of individual tower damage)
Setting this value to 100% means that damage of the individual tower type is doubled, which is by design
