That's not a bug, this is the way tracker music and synthesizers work. The track itself can contain BPM "notes" and it is not possible to calculate the current BPM simply by rewinding the song - it should be analyzed from the beginning and handled according to the music format (which has performance impact).

Just rewind to some other segment which "fixes" the BPM. It is a song-specific issue and can also be solved by editing the song to contain BPM info per segment
