Summary | 0001321: Tesla ultimate is bad. (Big task, 4 videos with testing, theory and math) | ||||
Description | So, lets start with videos. I this 2 videos i place towers is same place in level 1.1, choose first 2 same perks (in level 4 and 7), and upgade them same, but they have different 20 level perk. Another reason: hp of enemies and waiting. HP in this game - progessive, that mean we can't use only one tower in level. For example: we have wave X, and enemies have 200k health, our towers do 5k dps. That mean, we need 10-20 towers to kill enemies fast, but dps of the tower don't grow -> we need wait around 40 sec for this ability, but another towers will try stole this hp. For effective ultimate use - everyone need to be a tesla and have ultimate. So, x1.1 is more effective, because we already dealing more damage and we don't need to wait. For time of waiting ultimate we can loose hp, because not enought damage. | ||||

How can other towers steal HP? They don't stop Tesla from attacking and it still deals the same damage per second.

Ok, there my mistake. In my theory tesla will spend time for finding new target (because of rotation speed not momental rotate, tower need time) after killing enemy by other tower = more time to restore ability. But in testing with tesla + cannon only difference in waves 1 wave (100 with ultimate and 101 with x1.1)
Yes, this true, but ultimate must be usefull, not useless. Ultimate must be usefull in some conditions, you need to do a choice in your strategy. For example cannon ultimate (it's example, i will test this ultimate dps later) you can't choose in any situation, because you need road near, that mean you have choices what you need in your strategy = good design of buiding up a strategy, you need find best place to tower.
Tesla already has big range, and usualy this range already enought. This is reason why no matter where you place this tower - this tower don't require specific strategy, you just build it and do damage. Again, it's work like x1.1, but less damage and not always works.
Yes, but usualy one tower do no more than 2 lightning balls.
Ok, maybe this is good.
Nowhere about this written in game. But anyway, this is small amount of coins. And what about high waves, where you can't beat enemies even with 5 max towers? You will have do not enough dps to spawn ability, so this mean you loose free damage by using ultimate. Again x1.1 will better. And from my video testings x1.1 always more effective than ultimate. (I remind - enemies was always in tower range, so in first 2 tests 1 tesla do 100% damage) |
