| Summary | 0001043: "ambient recognitions are paused" | ||||
| Description | My pixel 4 xl doesn't show songs that are playing in the room, while my pixel 2 xl does. I play infinitode 2 on my pixel 4 xl. The system settings page for the "now playing" feature has a red alert icon next to text that says "infinitode 2 is using device audio" and "ambient recognitions are paused". Killing infinitode 2 removes the icon and text and then the ambient recognition service works again. Is there a way to release audio services when the phone is locked or infinitode 2 is in the background? Thanks | ||||

I doubt there's a way to fix it, just kill the game. Infinitode 2 uses default audio output to play synthesized chiptunes and sounds, and does that using default game engine's methods (that will hold the audio output while the app is active) |
