There is a peak in inconsistent calculationl that always occours when close to getting a rounded amount of prestige.

2,930->2,998
2,931->2,100
2,934->3,2
mP->prestige
Used base, no research, no abilities, 70% spawn..

Sometimes the peaks go as high as Y,9[0000021:0000020-0000077:0000066]->[Y+1],[111-999] (read like 4,920->5,9) where as something out of this range i.e. y,900-> y,700
