I'd like to see a new game mode like "competition". It could swap easy mode (does anyone really play it?) and have the same rules for everyone. See, now, if you have your own life and don't have full normal, it's nearly impossible to hit even top 200 on any level (except DQ's), and I think it's unfair. Current competition on ru server (get the max score on 5.7 using only 3 towers) showed this very clearly: some hit 1,000,000 easly, some barely can get 500,000. So, again, it would be fair to have 3 modes now: «Competition», with the same upgrades for everyone, «Normal», storyline, and «Endless», for those who don't know what to do with their lives.
